Acronym for Command Line Interface. It's a text-based interface to operate software and operating systems. All interactions are done by text commands and all results or feedback is also provided in text. CLI is useful for configurating systems and interacting with settings that are not available in the graphical user interface. It is often used by developers and system admins.
